COBRAS Visits
Once you are eligible to participate in COBRAS, there are things you need to do and be mindful of before coming in!
What to do
No illegal or non-prescribed drug use (other than cannabis, alcohol, and nicotine) between the start and end of the study period
No alcohol or cannabis within 12 hours of lab visit
No vigorous exercise, caffeine, food, or drink (aside from
water) 80 minutes prior to the lab visits.
Try to eat a large last meal before the food cut off as you
will have to go approximately 6 hours without eating
Abstain from urinating a few hours prior to lab visits
Clean/wash hair day of the lab visits (Shampoo only, no conditioner or other hair products), also refrain from using make up products the day of appointment
Be well-rested for lab visits; can reschedule as needed
